Overall Personality:
Shelby is a rather simple girl when it comes to life. She doesn't want the most expensive dress in the shop window or the finest pearls from the jewelry store. In fact she would rather wear a pair of pants, an old shirt and a paintbrush in her hand. She loves to draw and paint in her spare time. In fact one room in her apartment is used only for her painting and drawing. Another thing she likes is the sunset. All the different colors that come together seem to put her in a state of awe. Which is why she has many paintings and drawings of different sunsets that she has seen.
Besides painting and drawing Shelby loves animals and children. You will find her at her family farm a lot. Either riding a horse or taking care of the goats and sheep and such. She also likes kids, especially when she waits on a family with children at the Cafe. It's always fun to be around them because you never know what they're going to say next. Here are some things that put her on edge. Drunken men terrify her and get under her skin. They're absolutely disgusting.
Shelby also hates pushy and arrogant people. They are always on her last nerve even before they get the first sentence out of their mouth. Besides that she hates to hear noises that she can't explain, it just creeps her out. Shelby also hates not drawing or painting. But she doesn't worry about that much while she is at work because there is always something there to get her mind off of it. Last but not least she hates being underestimated because she is a woman. She is just as good as any guy out there.

Lucy watched as Jack looked at his hand for a short moment. A frown was beginning to appear when she figured out why he was looking at his hand. She smirked and it was instantly gone when his gaze moved away from his hand. Apparently Jack had figured out that she wasn't like most women. Good, she didn't want men to think that she was. She could shoot and ride just as well as anyone. Unlike those girls who always wore the frilly dresses and hung out in the saloons.
She nodded her head back in return when Jack nodded his. She flashed him a smile and watched as he shrugged. She looked at his face. It seemed like he was debating something with himself on the inside. Lucy watched as his gaze traveled over to the cemetery and at the markers. She raised an eyebrow. Did he have family here too? Probably. Otherwise he wouldn't be sitting outside on a bench. If he was here to do something at the church if would be in there, right?
Lucy met his gaze without hesitating when Jack's eyes finally rested on her face. She listen quietly to what he had to say. So he was here for the cemetery. For his sister's birthday. How sad with a hint of sweetness. It was sad that his sister was dead but it was so sweet that he still brought her flowers for her birthday. That thought brought a small smile to her face. Lucy turned in the saddle slightly and scanned the cemetery her gaze soon caught a marker that had brightly colored flowers laying in front of it. That had to be it.
She brought her gaze back to Jack. I see. She said. Lucy hooked a strand of blonde hair behind her ear. Then Jack asked why she was here. She shrugged and her expression just seemed to say 'the same thing as usual'. I was just visiting the church. To pray for my family who passed away. Lucy said. She gave a small smile but her eyes didn't twinkle that they normally did. Her heart just wasn't into the smile at all. It was never a smiling matter when you have lost loved ones. But for some reason Lucy smiled anyways. She didn't know why though, she just did it without thought.
